Those of us who go back a way will remember Linda from
her years of working in OCLC and being
active in map libraries and especially
in map cataloging. She was a delightful
persons, with a slightly wicked sense of
humor, and her friends will certainly
miss her.

The following is mainly from the Marion (Ohio) Star

Linda Carlson Condry

MARION: Linda Carlson Condry, age 58, died Monday, November 1, 2010, after a 10-year battle with kidney cancer. She was born in Oxford, IN to John F. and Eleanor (Moyars) Carlson.

A graduate of Indiana University, she retired from the Marion Public Library. Prior to working for the Marion Public Library, she worked for several years at OCLC. She pursued her passions for life-long learning (through the Learning Enrichment Institute), knitting, horses, history, and much more.

She leaves her husband of 20 years, Harry R. Condry; brother, Patrick (Cindy) Carlson; sister, Janice Carlson; nephews, nieces, and a host of friends worldwide.

A Life Celebration will be held at the Condry home on November 20, come any time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Oxford (IN) Public Library, Heifer International, or Habitat for Humanity.

Rodman Neeper Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. To express condolences or share a memory, please visit: www.RodmanNeeper.com
