Have any map catalogers out there cataloged a map with a nonlinear scale
where the scale is given on the piece and you've recorded it in a scale
statement in the catalog record? (This would be according to rule 3B6 of
Cartographic Materials, and considering the application under rule 3B which
explains nonlinear scale.) Though I wouldn't mind seeing an example of a
celestial chart record, I'm particularly interested in one or more examples
of other kinds of cartographic materials with nonlinear scales such as
those from which quantitative measurements other than linear distances can
be approximated.
