Hmm..that's just for the USA, no?

Which raises an interesting question -- which is the "biggest little city in the world?"

Alas, Reno doesn't qualify even for Nevada.  Boulder City, NV has a smaller population and larger land area.

It looks to me that the biggest little city in the USA is Sitka, AK.
(pop. 8835, land area just under 2874 sq. mi.; if you include water area, it's over 4811 sq. mi.)

Does the patron require "cities" only, or do other designations qualify (borough, town, village, CDP, etc.) -- that might be difficult when considering other languages, legal structures, etc.
