Subject: GIS data for France

Hello,

I have a patron who wants me to make him a map of France using the 1871 boundaries that has the departments not provinces. I was wondering what others have used in the past for historical data. I found the EuroAtlas Georeferenced Historical Vector Data online, but was curious if there was something else available before purchasing. Also the patron wants a map of Paris that includes the 20 arrondissements that he could use for his book. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.
