*Joint AMS History Committee and ASLI Session*

The American Meteorological Society (AMS) History Committee and the
Atmospheric Science Librarians International (ASLI) will co-sponsor a
joint session on weather and history. Papers are invited on how weather
has changed history, unique historical weather archives and collections,
societal benefits of decades of satellite meteorological research, etc.
The joint session will be held at the ASLI Conference on Wednesday,
January 20, 2010 at the American Meteorological Society Annual
Meeting. Submissions should include full contact information, a title,
and brief abstract of less than 250 words.
