WAML, the Western Association of Map Libraries, fall 2009 Conference
will be held Sept. 15-18, in Cody, Wyoming. We’ve got a terrific program
planned and a field trip into Yellowstone National Park. Please consult
the conference wiki at http://wamlfall2009.pbworks.com/ for details.
In the great WAML tradition, conference fees are kept to a minimum to
encourage maximum participation—only $40 for WAML members and $45 for
non-members. You do not need to live in the West to be welcomed into our
midst. (More information about WAML is available on our website at
http://www.waml.org/ .)
*If you’re planning on attending the conference, please send in your
registration form and check by August 15*. I’ve attached the form for

If you’d like to use electronic bill pay, request a check to be made out
to WAML and sent to my address (below). Please complete the registration
form and send it to me via e-mail so I know who the incoming check is for.

The Field trip will be an all day bus tour of Yellowstone National Park,
featuring the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River, Old Faithful Inn
and geyser basins, and Yellowstone Lake. The trip is limited to 36
participants.

Vickie’s Regular Recipe Potato Chips, Grandma’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
and a package of raisins.
