Invitation to host the 26th International Conference on the History of
                         Cartography (ICHC) in 2015

The Board of Directors of Imago Mundi Ltd. invites proposals for hosting
the
2015 conference.

and
in particular the section 'Information about Proposing and Organizing an
ICHC'.  This provides a link to two pdf files:

* 'Hosting an International Conference on the History of Cartography:
Guidelines and Some Requirements'

* 'Organising an International Conference on the History of Cartography:
Guidelines, with Some Requirements'


These documents set out the requirements for a successful conference and
are intended to assist potential hosts to prepare a strong case.

Those considering hosting the 2015 conference should contact the Chairman,
Imago Mundi Ltd., Tony Campbell, 76 Ockendon Road, London N1 3NW, UK.

Formal proposals will need to be submitted by 1 December 2010. It is hoped
to announce the results in spring 2011.
