For anyone attending the ALA Midwinter meetings in Boston, and if you
are arriving on Thursday, Jan. 14th, there is an interesting program
co-hosted by the Boston Map Society and the Leventhal Map Center of the
Boston Public Library at 6 pm, Abbey Room, McKim Bldg., Boston Public
Library. The speaker will be Toby Lester who is the author of The Fourth
Part of the World:The Epic Story of the Map That Gave America Its Name.
