Please join us for the 2013 ALA Midwinter meeting of the:

MAGIRT/ALCTS CaMMS Cartographic Resources Cataloging Interest Group

Sun. Jan. 27, 2013
8:30 am to 10:00 am (PST)

Location: Sheraton Seattle Hotel, Jefferson Room

Discussion topics will include:
-Treatment of globes in LCSH & LCGFT, see:
http://www.loc.gov/catdir/cpso/genre_form_globes_final.pdf
-Use of World maps, Earth |v Maps, and World atlases in LCSH & LCGFT
-Identifying works for cartographic resources in RDA and how it may
differ from AACR2
-Suitability of LCSH for describing geospatial data sets

Please feel free to bring other cartographic resources cataloging topics
of interest and we will try to cover them as time permits.
