Hi Lee and others,
In case you aren't aware of www. europeana.org
<http://www.europeana.org/portal/>, it is a terrific resource for all
sorts of archival documents--photos, maps, advertisements, you name it.
Here's a Strasbourg map from 1863 that might fit your needs--

Does anyone have a French map published before 1870 that shows the city
plan of Strasbourg in Alsace? I am particularly interested in one that
shows or notes the location of the City Hall, prior to the
Franco-Prussian War. The Germans captured a map such as this, and used
it to lay their artillery against the city hall. Regretfully, the map
they captured was incorrect, and they shelled the municipal library instead.
I would like to use an image of a similar map for an illustration for a
talk I'm giving on captured maps.
