The AGS Library is in the process of "recataloging" materials from the
rare room. Items are cataloged in detail using a card catalog but now
librarians are getting everything entered into the online catalog. As
part of this process of shifting and reshelving materials,

a rolled map was discovered.

Faculty at UW Milwaukee, Marquette University and the Universidad
Nacional Autónoma de México have determined that the item is a 300 year
old Mexican codice.
