Now retired, I was Gov. Docs/ Map Librarian at University of Alaska
Fairbanks for many years. The 1:25,000 series was there when I got the
job. Before I left I went through all the minor topo series and made
sure the sheets were enumerated on state level records ( UAF OPAC
record for Alaska 1:25,000 Scale Series (topographic) shows 237 sheets
available but Seward B-8 NE is not on the list) My guess is it was
never published or if published not distributed to libraries for some
reason. You might check with UAF's special collections section (Alaska
Polar Regions of the Rasmuson Library) as they maintained some of
their records separate from mine and I don't think they enumerated all
the sheets.

I think the reference to Seward B-8 without subdivision was probably
to the 1:63,360 series.
