I have a copy of a platt map of Jefferson Davis Parish, LA. It is big,
its in blue, has a penciled in scale bar of 1:31680 (approx.) and its
free to any party that can make good use of it. Need more information or
would like to take this map home? You can contact me at any of the
 numbers below.

Also, my two cents on the cartographic ballads. My two favorite
cartographic images are 1) the Lobeck Diagram of the U.S. and the 2) the
Earth From Space -- a cloudless satellite photo of Earth that was
pieced together from a range of satellite images, unfortunately (or rather
fortunately) it is on my wall at home and I can't remember the company
who distributes it. I have spent many hours staring at these images
marvelling at the intricacies of our amazing planet!
