Another sign of the times!

Subj: BuMines publications exchange

Folks:
If you haven't heard yet, the U.S. Bureau of Mines will no longer
be sending ANY of its publications on exchange to ANYONE, anywhere.
They've taken a major, major budget hit, and the U.S. Congress slashed
their publications budget.
In future, the BuMines pubs will only be available for sale from
GPO and(or) NTIS, and at the federal depository libraries. No exceptions.
(The folks I talked to at the BuMines were angry/sickened/in
despair over this-- but caught.)
