For those of you who haven't heard about the merger of San Diego State
University's governemnt Publications and Maps divisions, there is a 7 page
account it in the Spring 1994 Sepcial Libraries.  The article begins on
page 89 and covers all aspects of the merger from its cause to the patron
responses and all the activities in between.
