For those who expressed interest in information on Bailey's 1994 version of
Ecoregions of the U.S. here it is: The maps are available from the man
himself: contact Bob Bailey on 303/498-1773; all he needs is your address
and there is no charge for the map.

Bob says that they are still in the process of updating the companion text
which provides a description of the ecoregions. This publication (USForest
Service publication 13-91) will probably not be available until Fall 1994.
A digital version of the map is being created by the US Geological Survey
but is not complete. Bob is not sure when USGS will have it completed but
he is the contact for the digital version when it does become available.
