Folks--
One of my people here (Tim Walsh) is looking for some aerial
photos, and so far we've not been successful. Maybe one of you can help,
or have some ideas?
He needs the aerial photos flown to assess the damage caused by
the March 26, 1964 earthquake in Alaska. He's especially interested in
the area around Prince William Sound and Cook Inlet, and from Valdez to
the Matanuska River, and all of the Kenai Peninsula.
These photos do (or at least *did*) exist; they reportedly were
flown for the USGS by a commercial firm.
The Alaska state geo & geophy survey doesn't have them (*they're
the ones who asked Tim to find them!). The USGS photo lib in Denver
doesn't have them. They're not on the USGS CD-ROM index of aerial
photos.
        I'm stuck. Any ideas?
