Folks--
        I'm posting this both to Maps-L and GeoNet-L; sorry for the
duplication.
        We *quickly* need to find local ordinances (not "laws", but
ordinances) regulating the  noise, dust, water quality (etc.) issues of
surface mining of sand, gravel, and/or stone.
        So: can any of you send us copies and/or point us in fruitful
directions?  Many thanks.
