What is a zine?

A zine is a fan magazine. Amateur authors write stories,
poetry etc about their favorite TV (movie, literary)
characters and then have them published for their own
pleasure. It's a hobby for many people.

A zine is a self-published magazine. There are hundreds
of them out there, on all subjects. The periodical
Factsheet 5 keeps track of the zine universe--that is
where I saw Topozine listed.
