The GNIS CD will be a sales item within the next month. The User manual
was finished and is beiing printed. When this is finished the CD and the
manual will be shrink wrapped for shipping then annoc. will be put out
about the sales.

I am wondering how the OMNI Gazetteer of the U.S. relates to
the GNIS CD - is it derived from the same database? Does it have more
indexing than GNIS will have ? Have people found it useful ? For those
of us who spent big bucks to buy it - will we also want to buy the
GNIS CD ? Any comments on this ? Joan Winearls
