Over the past while, there have been several messages posted here asking for
help locating a feature.  Another possible source might be to check with the
geographic names authority for the place.  Several states have geographic names
authorities - boards, commissions, assigned agencies, whatever. According to a
1989 directory,in PA its the  Historical and Museum Commission. George Beyer at
(717) 783-9871 is the contact. The USBGN has agencies in other countries that
it works with;  Roger Payne can tell you who they are.
