Here is the best available map of the Saigon / Ho Chi Minh City area that is
fast becoming a top destination for travellers to South East Asia.
This double sided map shows on the one side city streets at scale 1:18,000
and the reverse has the greater area of Ho Chi Minh City at scale 1: 175,000.
The city street map is indexed and has a wealth of information for a visitor
as well as for those spending a longer time in the area. The detail of city
streets include useful information such as the bus routes with numbers and
stops, one way streets and many points of interest.
The Ho Chi Minh City area of 2000 sq. km is shown on the reverse map here
highways and roads are shown with distance markings, hypsometric tints are
used although the land is very flat. This side also includes an inset map of
the world showing principal air routes and frequency to and from Ho Chi Minh
city.

This is the best general purpose map of Malawi that I have seen and is the
latest addition of individual country maps published by ITMB.
The cartographer Stephen Stringall has an attractive style that is clear and
concise depicting a large amount of geographic and ancillary information
related to Malawi. There is extensive use made of the borders of the map to
include anecdotal text dealing with everything from the history of Malawi,
wildlife, economy and physical geography descriptions. An inset map shows
annual rainfall and other inset maps show streets of Blantyre and Lilongwe.
Other useful features are a distance graph and of course colour photos of
various indigenous wildlife of Malawi. The map has devoted a good deal of
attention to travel related features such as gasoline / petrol stations,
rest houses, missions, mosques etc and five different road classifications
are shown.
For travel in Malawi this map is indispensable.
