Johnnie: I, too, missed the original inquiry.  The Map Library at the Univ. of
Kansas was moved this July to new quarters.  We had professional movers who
used balloons to hold the maps in place and used the tops of the cases or heavy
hardboard tops strapped to the case.  Using heavy duty dollies they were put on
their backs and rolled into elevators and up and down sidewalks to their desti-
nation.  In one week some 275 cases were moved and set up in the new area.
