To all colleagues,

From 10 October 1995 onwards alle telephonenumbers in the
Netherlands will consist of 10 digits. For the big town areas
this will have no influence (e.g. my office number remains
070-3140241), but areas with a 5 digit area-number will have a
change in area number and in call number. (e.g. 05488-2378
becomes 0548-682378)

For the first six months following this date you can call either
the new or the old number. Beginning on 10 April 1996 only the
new numbers will be in use. If you like to find out more about
the changes you can call +06-0096 (toll free) of PPT Telecom
Netherlands. They'll send you a free brochure.

Thank you for your attention,
