Sunday, June 9
Executive Board Meeting  3 - 6 pm

Dutch Treat Dinner and Foray 6 - 9pm

Meet in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel at 5:30 or
        join us at the restaurant
 
Join us for a Dutch Treat dinner at Jake's.  Established in 1868, Jake's is one
of the oldest restaurants in Boston.  Located at 33-37 Stuart Street in the
theater district, it is near the Boylston stop on the Green Line.  It serves a
complete menu of German and American cuisine.  We will meet in the lobby of the
Marriott Hotel at 5:30 pm, and walk, cab or "T" to the restaurant.  Interested
division members are urged to sign up on Sunday.  Look for a sign-up sheet on
the division message board in the SLA Registration Area, Hynes Convention
Center.  We have reserved 25 spaces but will need to give them a final count by
late afternoon.

Member Reception & Tour  4:30-6:30 pm
Map Library, Wadsworth House, Harvard University
Join with fellow memebers of the G & M Division for a reception and tour of the
library.  We will be joining members of the Boston Map Society for the opening
of the exhibit "A Century of Cycling Maps".  The Map Library is located in
Wadsworth House.  Take the "T" to Harvard Square.  Enter Harvard University
through the Harvard Square gate and make your way to Harvard Yard and Widener
Library.  The Map Library is in the building just to the left as you face the
front door of Widener Library.

Walk the Freedom Trail  3 - 6 pm
Meet in the lobby of the Marriott Hotel at 2:45 pm
Join fellow members of the division for an informal walking tour of historical
sites in downtown Boston.
 
Thursday, June 13
New England Aquarium Whale Watch 9 am - 3pm
Meet at the docks by the New England Aquarium (accessible via the "T" on the
Blue Line) at 9am, boarding at 9:30.  We will join what is billed as "New
England's most adventurous whale watch,"  with narration by a professional
naturalist from the New England Aquarium.  There is a full galley on board the
ship.  We will return to the docks at approximately 3pm.
This is a ticketed event, currently sold out!  I will check with the Aquarium
during the week to see if more tickets are available.
