The NOBS Map Interest Group will convene again on Wednesday,
April 17, at 7:00 p.m. at the 4 Corners Map Shop in Akron.
Steve and Debbie Rhinesmith run a retail store chock full of
a wide variety of maps and map-related items. Steve has been
at work compiling and publishing a topographical map for the
Cuyahoga Valley National Recreation Area. This urban park which
stretches between Cleveland and Akron contains remnants of the
Ohio and Erie Canal as well as some of the last undeveloped land
in the region. Steve will discuss details of the mapmaking and
publishing process. The map may even be hot off the presses for
purchase.
4 Corners Map Shop is located at 1887 West Market St. (Route 18)
in Akron. (330-869-6277)
