Thank you David Cobb for the information about the new largest globe ever
built.  The timing for this new edifice could not be better since next
spring the American Association of Geographers is being held in Boston.
Just think of the variety of field trips this can engender from geographers
concerned with economics and place location to cartographers and GIS
specialists.  I wonder if ESRI could use Freeport/Yarmouth as a Tutorial
site for ArcView?
 
If this information was part of a longer article, I would be interested in
reading it.  Unfortunately I could not find anything about the Delorme
Globe in the Boston Globe online.  If there is more information would
someone be willing to share it?
