There have been several examples lately of the USGS lettered series
maps (in the envelopes) being "reprinted." That's what it actually
says on the envelope. How is the rest of the map cataloging world
treating these? As reprints and creating a new record separate from
the original publication? Or - as a printing and not creating a new
record? If not creating a new record, do you add just a 300 subfield g
to the record for the original publication? Or do you just consider
the "reprint" a second copy of the original? Anyone with advice? LC?
USGS? I usually don't have the original publication so I can't compare
     the two.
