     Jim --
In 1993, the ALA RBMS/GODORT/MAGERT Joint Committee on Government
Documents as Rare Books published "Rare and Valuable Government
Documents: A Resource Packet on Identification, Preservation, and
Security Issues for Government Documents Collections," compiled by Jim
Walsh et al. It includes some useful directory information, though it
is somewhat out of date by now. One section lists state contacts who
are part of the Cooperative Presevation Programs Group, and they can
help with information and referrals. There is no listing for
Missouri, but the info for Kansas is as follows:
        Michael Piper, Executive Director
        Kansas Library Network
        State Capitol, Third Floor
        Topeka, KS 66612-1593
        (913) 296-3296

Another section of the resource packet is a reprinted Technical
Leaflet from the Northeast Document Conservation Center, which lists
     preservation suppliers and services.

Let me know if I should provide more specifics from this publication.
