A few months ago someone asked about available Gondwana maps. A new map has
been published - "Geodynamic Map of Gondwana Supercontinent". This map
shows gondwanaland in a tight reconstruction, with cratons and
post-Paleozoic cover generalized, and detailed data on Mesoproterozoic,
Neoproterozoic, and Paleozoic mobile belts. This map is different from the
"Geologic Map of Sectors of Gondwana" that was published in 1988 (and now
OOP) by the Council for Geoscience in South Africa.

Price is $50 (US$) and is available from us, BRGM France, or Council of
Geoscience South Africa.

Thanks, Russell Guy
