The Map Division of the University of Alaska Fairbanks would like to
offer about 200 volumes of the GEOLOGIC ATLAS OF THE UNITED STATES
(I 19.5/1 and I 19.5/2) to any library that is willing to pay shipping
costs for them.
 
The maps date from 1894-1945 and seem to cover most of the states
(but not Alaska because it was not a state yet).  About 150 are in
the original paper binding and 50 have been hard bound by us.  The
editions vary from regular to Library edition.  The scales are
generally 1:62,500 or 1:125,000. The size of the maps is about 18"w
x 23"h and the total weight is something like 250 lbs.   Let me know
if you can use them,
