Greetings, Mapfolk!

I have a very tightly folded 1945 map (from the pocket at the back of a
geologic report) which I would like to flatten and copy on a large-format
copier. Any suggestions for relaxing this puppy? A steamy bathroom,
perhaps? The map itself is 36" x 50", and has been folded to about 4" x 6".

Thanks in advance.

Jim
