I saw the following answer from Sam Wormley on the GPS newsgroup.
   http://www.geocode.com/eagle.html-ssi
The first link will provide lat/lon given a street address.

I had a phone request for a web site which will give lat/long for a
specific street address; the person was sure there was one-
Does anyone know of such a site?
