Job description:
PTSC, created by the MTA,  a multi-modal transportation leader is
seeking individuals to fill Transportation Planner II positions
associated with systems analyses and research in one of the following
three areas: (1) travel demand modeling and forecasting, (2)
geographic information system and spatial analyses, and (3) service
planning and market research, to support the planning and forecasting
function of the Regional Transportation Planning & Development
(RTP&D) Unit. Performs and supports jrney-level activities with
systems analyses and research. Requires a 3 yrs of progressively
responsible experience with modeling, GIS or market research
applications related to transportation or urban planning, or
engineering & BA/BS degree in Urban or Transportation Planning,
Operations Research, Engineering, Computer Programming and
Applications, Geography or other related field.  A Master&#8217;s degree in
a rel. field is desirable and may be substituted for 1 yr of exp.  To
