This is what I came up with.
 
Homokbodoge   Hungary  47o 18' N / 17o 36' E  107 km NNE of Nagykanizsa
Vysne Remety  Czech.   48  50      22  10      69    ENE of Kosice
Periam        Romania  46  03      20  52     221     SW of Cluj.
 
I used the book "Where Once We Walked" by Mokotoff and Sack.
