Dear map folks,

In preparing our yearly orders and update of Michelin maps and guides we
assembled the following map & atlas information only that may be of
interest to members of this list. The Michelin website
http://www.michelin-travel.com while interesting does not show ISBN's
and we had to get that information from other sources.

Michelin decided in late 2000 to print the year of new editions for the
first time boldly on the cover of each individual (red coloured) country
map and therefore made a comittment to publish a new edition of most
country maps each year. Previously the dates were printed on the back of
the map near the bar code. The Michelin regional maps such as the yellow
coloured France sectionals or the orange coloured sections of other
European countries are still dated in this fashion and generally updated
every 2-3 years, probably based on sales as well as information change
factors. The following products are the  2002 ISBN's provided by
Michelin and priced in Canadian dollars. We are not showing the products
that are in French language only.
When the date is known it is shown, for example Feb 2002=2002/02
If the date was not provided by Michelin and shown here then the product
is probably available now, date 2001
