Anyone at the Geological Society of America meeting in Minneapolis a
couple of years ago will surely remember the spectacular (and huge)
geologic map of Minnesota quilt on display. It was truly awesome, by
far the most amazing quilt map I have ever seen. A picture can't do
justice to size (about 10-12' tall as I recall), sumptuous fabrics, and
amount of geologically accurate detail.
