Worked with Gary in IFLA and was trapped with him in Moscow during the
IFLA Annual Conference and the Russian Coup in August 1991.

Dear Friends and Family,

Gary North died on Tuesday morning, October 29, at approximately 4 am.
He ended up in the hospital on Monday for treatment to a couple of
wounds on his leg. His heart stopped, in his sleep. Doctors came
rushing in but he did not survive. Gary suffered much in the past month
and a half since his heart failed him at the end of August, but at that
point, he was revived.

A service will be held this Saturday, November 2, 2013
