Friends,

I am down sizing an engineering office and have an extensive
collection of USGS Topographic and other maps that were
maintained for projects. Some are slightly used or storage worn
but otherwise have been stored in good condition in flat Museum
Files.  The following are in the collection;

Approximately 10,000 USGS Topo maps, mostly 7-1/2" series and
about 1/4 being the 15" series. They date from the 1940's
through the '80's. many are photorevised to a later date.

Several dozen USGS Topo Plastic Relief maps, both 7-1/2 and 15
minute series.

Many 100's of USGS Topo 1:250,000 scale maps

Dozens of 1:500,000 and 1:1,000,000 scale folded maps

Dozens of Aeronautical Charts, both with (folded) and without
(flat) the red overprint information - some of these without red
are stored flat and some are rolled.

Census books and maps.

Other maps and map products and map storage equipment (tubes and
racks, file cabinets and Museum Flat Files) are available.

Are you interested in any of this material?

Please call or e-mail to discuss any particulars.

-- Laura, The Maryland contingent of this collection is about 2
to 4% of the total for all map types. --
