The David Rumsey Collection web site has received a Best of the Web (Webby) Award in the technical achievement category.

The award was presented at a ceremony in San Francisco on June 18 by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences.  Other nominees in this category, who "exemplify the very best that the Internet has to offer" were Google, Memorystick, REBOL Internet Operating System and Volantis System Ltd.
