Bowling Green State University Map Collection still has a light table
available for public use but it has not been used in the last few years.

We still have three, actually, but only one gets much use.

Sue
The Map section of the National Library of Australia has a light table used
not only by staff but also by readers. There is no way I would part with
it. The table is one of our most valuable pieces of equipment even if it is
not used every day. Some of the uses include establishing watermarks on
early maps as well as the usual tracing, etc.
Yours sincerely
Maura O'Connor
Map Curator

Sue: The Scripps Instituion of Oceanography Library still has a nice,
custom made (oak) light table we had built in 1975. It comes in handy
for users who need to sort slides; very few users trace maps/charts
anymore because we have a large format copier in our facility.

Sue,

we have three, two of which work. have a zoom transfer scope, too. am in
process of clearing office to accomodate them.

haven't been able to find the "maps published by congress." it's the busy
time of year.

regards.
