------------------
In the last few months I have donated a lot of duplicate maps to local
departments of fine art. They are very enthusiastic about taking the
maps
for collage work etc. I look forward to seeing many
cartographically-inspired pieces of art coming from the students in the
next few years.
This is a 'last resort' of course, a little better than throwing maps
in
the paper recycling bin.
Best wishes
Tinho
