HelenJane;

The British Overseas Survey Directorate (DOS, OSD), a part of the British
Ordnance Survey is phasing out of producing maps for former colonies,
particularly the African ones. There is currently an OS study underway
which will recommend on whether to continue the OSD or to close it down -
that will depend largely on whether the OSD can make itself 100%
self-sufficient.

The OSD have disposed of much of their inventory, including ALL inventory of
Uganda, Nigeria, Lesotho, Tanzania, Kenya, Chad (Lake Chad), etc. We bought
much of what they had left. We are now sold out of the Uganda, Nigeria, and
Lesotho holdings; still have some Lake Chad, Kenya, and Tanzania sets left.
the Uganda Survey tells us that they have no stock, and they are referring
customers to us, so I assume they are truly low on stock.

As much as I hate to say it, I would suggest that if you need Uganda topos
that you try Geocenter.
