We're considering archiving a rather large collection
of photographic data on CDs. I seem to recall a thread
a while back that suggested CD technology wasn't
necessarily an ideal archival solution, that under some
circumstances the media wasn't wholly stable. I'd appreciate
advice and comments. Best to go with CDs? Magneto-optical
or floptical drives? Or something else entirely?
