A while back someone asked about maps showing locations in novels and
short stories. I recently found my copy of the Sherlock Holmes Mystery
Map. It was published by Aaron Blake Publishers and distributed by Gibbs
M. Smith, Inc., Peregrine Smith Books, P.O. Box 667, Layton, UT 84041.
It has a copyright date of 1987. Other maps in this publisher's series of
literary maps are: The Raymond Chandler Mystery Map of Los Angeles, The
Ernest Hemingway Adventure Map of the world, The John Steinbeck Map of
England, The Jane Austen Map of England, The Ian Fleming Thriller Map, The
Literary Map of Los Angeles, and The Beat Generation Map of America.
There is also Tony Hillerman's Indian Country Map & Guide. The second
edition was published by Time Traveler Maps in 2003. Although it's an
atlas and not a map, there is Harbors and High Seas: an Atlas and
Geographical Guide to the Complete Aubrey-Maturin Novels of Patrick
O'Brian, by Dean King with John B. Hattendorf. The third edition was
published by Henry Holt in 2000.
