Dear All,

Bob McIntosh of BGS, Edinburgh has just notified HOGG that the Old
Series one inch geological solid and drift maps for England and Wales
have been place on line. The website is impressive. Bov has informed me
that it is still a work in progress with another 900 revised sheets to
scan and post. Prints may be ordered of the maps on-line.

Have a look – http://www.bgs.ac.uk/data/historicalmaps/home.html.

Regards,

John Henry
