Territorial Ambitions: Mapping the Far West, 1772-1782

Exhibit at the Society of California Pioneers’ Seymour Pioneer Museum,
300 Fourth St., San Francisco.  Fifty rare, influential or never-before
exhibited maps including railroad and topographical maps, nautical
charts, bird’s-eye views and coastal surveys. 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Wednesdays-Fridays and the first Saturday of each month.  Through May
28, 2004.  Admission $3, students and seniors $1.  415 957-1849.
