Subject: Atlas Indexing

Hi all:

A library school student here is going to index the just released Concise
Historical Atlas of Canada as an academic project. She has been unable to
find any articles on the methodology of indexing historical atlases,
despite a thorough lit. search. Would anyone have any references to
articles on this topic or any suggestions on how to do it?

Please respond to the list or me personally, and I'll forward to her.

TIA,
    Tim
