Many people knew Barbara who joined David at SLA meetings. With
permission, I share this sad news of Barbara's passing.

Dear Angie,

I am sorry to report the passing of my wife Barbara, on Monday
morning, Feb. 25. Many will remember her as she came to most SLA
meetings with me. You can view her photo and obit on the Dunbar Funeral
Home site (Devine Street). We had the photo taken on our most recent
cruise for Valentine’s Day. She liked it, so I decided to go with it.

She retired in December, but was busy with church, music, and community
organizations. She was on the phone and using her laptop, even
producing a program for the Thursday concert of the Sterling Chamber
Players on Sunday and then watched the Academy Awards. Shortly after
getting up on Monday morning, she suddenly passed on.

This is my first day back at work, so I thought I would try to reach
those who had not heard the news.

Thank you.

David C. McQuillan
