While going through some problem-children air photos,
I came across some 1950s flights, done for the US
Army Map Service by various commercial firms (eg
Mark Hurd; Aero Services). Possibly they were used
to generate the 1:250K topos.  In any case - I'm
checking to see if anyone has the photos and needs
the indexes:
Western US project no. 137, lot AV (we have sheet 3 of
9; alster and mark hurd; 1955); scale of photos 1:60K
(the sheet we have is of w-central Colo)
Western United States High Altitude project no. 146:
we have both sheets of the 2-sheet index; w. 1/2 of
Montana; scale of photos 1:61K; Aero Service
Western U.S. Project 55 AM 81: we have 1& 2 of 4;
sw ARizona(112-110W, 33-31N for entire project)
Project 55 AM 43, "Series V502, sheet NM12-10":
we have sh. 1&2 of 2; Flathead, Glacier, Pondera, Toole
Counties, Montana; 1957-59
Western United States : Project no. 22502-569 -
we have sheets NL10-3 (1957) and NM 11-11 (1958);
 western and very northern strip of Washington state.
